The best swimming lessons since 2011!
Van der Wal Sports and Swimming Academy was founded in 2011 by Marloes van der Wal. Swimming is in my blood! My mother swam with the world top and I trained under her leadership. After having followed various sports training courses (including Sport and Movement Coordinator, HvA Sport Management & Enterprise, National Academy of Sports Medicine), I focused on giving swimming lessons. I have worked for all kinds of swimming schools both at home and abroad and therefore developed a broad view of swimming lessons. In 2011 I took the step to set up my own swimming school with child -oriented education.
Why do you choose us?
We think it is very important that every child feels at home with us. With swimming lessons, children learn not only to swim, but also self -confidence, discipline and fears. The Van der Wal Sports & Swimming Academy team has a lot of experience in teaching children. We feel good about what is needed to make progress in a casual way. It is not for nothing that we are always praised by parents for our way of dealing with children and the quality of our lessons. Feel free to drop by for a trial lesson, and experience it for yourself!
We want to support your child as much as possible when obtaining their swimming diploma. Are you not sure if your child is ready for this step? Read more about the different diplomas and at what age your child can best start, because good preparation is half the battle.

With us it's not only about swimming lessons, but also about pleasure and trust in the water.

We believe that a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere makes learning easier and more fun. That is why we ensure that children feel comfortable - and that starts with a smile from the teacher.
